Digital Advertising Product Manager Job (Boston, MA, US)

Support the sales team within your assigned category to maximize revenue growth. This includes the creation and implementation of digital products to be sold within your assigned category/vertical. Own profit and loss results for the product launches and on-going sales campaigns within digital media sales. Lead product development initiatives and product innovation resulting in improved position in the market.

Responsibilities:

- Align product offerings with current editorial content to maximize product performance
- Manage the launch of new product offerings, including pricing, packaging, positioning, and training; oversee revenue strategy for all assigned digital products
- Create relevant, solutions based packages, proposals and compelling collateral that meet the needs our clients and our bottom line, highlighting our value proposition and competitive advantage
- Consult with reps to develop customized campaigns to drive results for their clients and maximize digital revenue
- Monitors financial performance of digital sales for assigned category, acts as point person for all digital products, oversees team specific digital sales strategy, assists in the close of sales as necessary
- Research marketing initiatives of existing/potential customers, perform competitive analysis
- Other responsibilities including (but not limited to) coordination between departments, communication, sales operations, overseeing sales strategy and training

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in digital media product management innovation and product development
- Solid project management team leadership skills
- Superior written and oral communication skills
- Media planning, supporting a digital sales team
- Five years or more of Product Management and/or Marketing experience successfully managing high profile cross-functional projects for consumer-focused media
- Prior experience defining, targeting, and serving segments with demonstrated ability to deliver sales, revenue, cash flow, EBITDA or profit results.
- Product launch, process development, and operations experience.
- Ability to design and speak effectively at management presentations using quantitative information in graphic and tabular forms
- Drive/Results oriented. Demonstrated ability to achieve results through clear expectations, able to set objectives and bring multiple parties together to drive key initiatives. Decisive with a bias towards action. Sets and delivers aggressive goals.
- Team Building/Motivation. Demonstrated capacity and appeal as a leader to motivate your assigned team, engrain a team approach and develop/attain the talent necessary to operate a top-notch digital media organization. Able to effectively bring together people across units and disciplines.
- Change Management. Experienced at transforming the process, systems and culture of an organization. Clear and frequent communicator to keep assigned team engaged during times of change/ challenge and focused on a compelling vision of the future.
- Innovative. Experience in developing and launching successful new products to meet digital media client’s needs.
- Decisive. Moves quickly to initiative projects. Measures success and failure in people and projects and takes appropriate action in a timely manner.
- Marketing. Expert in marketing to clients. Experience in advertising campaign management and internal digital media communications.
- Peer Leadership. Able to be a catalyst for change in the organization to improve digital media’s capabilities. Exceptional interpersonal skills, and established, respected leadership talent.
