The New York Times Editing Center, located in Gainesville, Florida, seeks a Page Designer. Entry level candidates will be considered, but the applicant must have experience with print publications, preferably involving both editing and design. Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite is required, as well as familiarity with type hierarchy and visual storytelling. Other requirements: Strong communication skills; meticulous attention to detail; the ability to multi-task, to work both independently and as part of a team, and to work quickly; and a focus on polished and professional customer service. Must be willing to work nights, weekends and some holidays.
