Job Title: Night Shift Diesel Truck Mechanic

Location: Boston, MA

Job Description: The Boston Globe is seeking a full time Night Shift Diesel Mechanic to work in our garage in Boston MA from 1:00 am – 9:00 am. Experience in truck repair is required. Experience with diagnostics is strongly preferred. The primary responsibility of the Diesel Truck Mechanic will be to diagnose and repair delivery trucks as necessary in a busy, collaborative environment. The mission of The Boston Globe Garage is to keep all trucks on the road and in top performing condition. This position is covered by a union collective bargaining agreement.

Qualifications:

- Diesel and gas engine truck repair experience
- Diagnostic experience
- Valid CDL license
- Fabricating and welding skills preferred
- Must have own tools
