Financial Analyst
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overseeing all expense activities which includes the month-end close, forecasting and budgeting. This involves close collaboration with the Digital Subscription Marketing directors and managers to ensure scrutiny of expenses in order to optimize acquisition resources within marketing channels.
- Continually improve Digital Subscription’s analytical/financial reporting infrastructure that measures business decisions and evaluates the financial viability of marketing campaign (i.e., acquisition methods, ROI models, and profitability) in order to improve the decision-making process. Assist Department in understanding the cost/benefit impact of initiatives and decisions. Utilize modeling and forecasting techniques to identify trends and develop financial projections.
- Responsible for maintaining and updating key financial business metrics.
- Work collaboratively with the Accounting department to ensure financial policies and procedures and effective internal controls are in place.
EXPERIENCE:
- Demonstrated accounting/financial and business management Experience.
- CPA or MBA preferred. Strong analytical and problem solving skills are required along with strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to present issues concisely and strategically to senior management and guide a decision-making process that is collaborative and balances financial, operational and strategic goals and objectives.
- The ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle simultaneous requests and competing priorities in an effective manner.
