Job Title: Production Coordinator
Location: Boston, MA
Job Description:
The Boston Globe is looking for technically-savvy production coordinator to work the night shift on our pre-press production team. Working with customers, sales and designers the Production Coordinator will identify and resolve all quality control issues in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
-Correcting & processing all electronic ads through various prepress production systems.
-Answering all calls/emails from both customers and sales reps regarding production related issues.
-Running reports to track & account for missing ads.
-Acting as liaison between client & sales for any production related problems.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years experience working in prepress systems including but not limited to Adman, Sap,PPI & Methode.
- Experience and mastery of all Adobe CS products including Acrobat, Indesign & Photoshop.
- Must work well in a team setting and a deadline driven environment
